Student Innovation Project
This project I was able to complete would not have been possible without the tools and education I received from UAT.
Innovation Claim
The project is focused on creating an efficient way for kids that are in the low-income class to find ways to support themselves.
This can come in areas such as:
Food, shelter, clothes, educational aid, LGBTQ help for youth, and to find work.
This site will be updated using HTML code, either from myself or automatically
This project will be done by using Visual Studio Code (HTML Coding for website), research online and interviews with individuals in the education field, QR codes (Powershell).
This will be done by scanning a QR code placed in areas, where it can direct them to the area they need assistance in.
Technical Field & Background Information
This project involves the technical fields of computer science/engineering with an emphasis on education
Technology forensics is needed as I need to extract data from certain areas while presenting the data to my target audience
Using technology forensics, I am investigating the uses and techniques to identify all these resources are up to date and safe to better the community around us
This is done by improving and maybe even saving the lives of these at-risk youth
Innovation Claim
This project is innovative because it creates an effective way for kids who may feel embarrassed asking for information for aid. This is a great way for kids to find tools and information out there for them.
This project uses technology to help kids find shelter if they are homeless, food such as food drives or even free meals, and places that are giving out free clothes
Using Power Shell to create the QR code
Install the module and set the execution policy to unrestricted
Next import the module in this case QRCODEGENERATOR, use Get-command and set the URL, and save file paths
For my QR is saved in file C:\$myURL-QR-PNG
